May is generally a great month for sales, mainly due to the weather. If you have a physical store, you may have seen an increase in customer arrivals, and combined with online you probably had more orders.
If you don’t have a physical store, as we mentioned in the previous report, you could optimize the website and online ads for the summer season and attract customers with your offer. A good example is if you sell skateboards or roller skates, you could prepare an advertisement on social networks or banners and thus bring more people to your website.
Results for May 2022
When we compare the months of April and May, we can see that online has “come to life” and improved. Although people go to shops and shopping malls, some percentage of them still do their research this way and then shop online.
It is necessary to take this into account during the summer season and set up online communication accordingly. From Google Ads metrics, we can see that clicks, impressions, and conversions increased during last month.
The percentage of clicks increased slightly by 5,5% and impressions were 12% higher. Of course, this was also reflected in the number of conversions (+16%) and their value (+ 20%).
As we mentioned in the previous report, there is no need to worry about investing in online campaigns during the summer. Although advertising is a bit weaker due to summer being the vacation season, it is necessary to adapt and optimize online campaigns for your benefit.
